Suzanne McKie QC

Suzanne has specialised in discrimination, equalities, employment, and partnership law for over 20 years. She is a dual-qualified barrister and solicitor and was appointed a QC in 2012. Suzanne has an outstanding reputation in her field of practice. She is well-known for her considerable strategic, legal, academic abilities and commercial focus, as well as for her exceptional advocacy and client care. Suzanne currently sits on the Legal Advisory Panels for Rights of Women and the Centre for Women’s Justice, and is a member of the Management Committee for One Loud Voice. Suzanne currently sits on the Employment Lawyers' Association Ethics Committee, and is the ELA’s former Chair and Deputy Chair. She is also a Trustee of the human rights charity REDRESS, and was a member of the Bar Council's Sex Discrimination Committee and Equal Opportunities Committee for many years.
Suzanne has been a Managing Director in a finance house, and has first-hand industry experience with significant knowledge of regulatory matters. She has been highly recommended in Chambers and Partners and Legal 500. Comments have included, “brilliant with clients,” “works tirelessly for clients,” “entirely unflappable,” and “a force to be reckoned with.” Suzanne is also an accredited mediator, having mediated disputes related to discrimination and personal injury. She can also accept third party-instructions for advocacy services.
